The Donkey Plus is a robust electric wheelbarrow for private and hobby applications or in the horse industry.

The exchangeable battery can be easily removed. This means that the battery can be easily taken to the charger if there is no mains connection at the work site. The main switch key can be removed, which prevents the risk of unauthorised use.

*How can deep discharge of the battery be avoided?*
Charge the battery every 6-8 weeks when not in use.

*How do I store the wheelbarrow when not in use?*
The wheelbarrow with charger must be stored in a dry place.
The storage temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C, with a maximum humidity of 50%.
Please note that storing the battery outside of these parameters may result in increased wear and tear on the battery and electronic components.

*Is the Donkey approved for use on public roads?*
The Donkey is intended for use on private property and may only be used outside with the appropriate permission and sufficient safety precautions for public traffic.

*Can a Donkey with a lead battery be converted to lithium-ion?*
Yes, but this involves high costs as the battery, charger and control unit must be replaced.

*How can I clean the Donkey?*
The electronic components are protected against splashing water and light rain during operation. Never clean the Donkey with a water jet. Moisture damage to the motor and electrical system can occur if they are directly exposed to water.

*How long does it take to charge a completely flat battery?*
The charging time is approx. 10-12 hours.

*The Donkey switches off automatically. Is there a fault?*
The Donkey has a thermal circuit breaker to protect it from overload. This switches off the electrical system as soon as there is a risk of overload due to excessive weight or driving on slopes that are too steep. If the Donkey is switched on, it switches off automatically after 20 minutes of non-use.

*The LED indicators are flashing. How can faults be diagnosed?*
