The ERGO is powered by a 24V direct current gear motor with an energy-efficient permanent magnet system. The power is transmitted via a chain drive. The wheels can be disengaged to make it easy to push, even without the motor switched on. The speed is infinitely adjustable and is always kept constant by a control system, even on rough terrain and slight gradients of up to 10%. The track width is manufactured according to customer specifications.
