The portable MANKAR® models are very well suited for use in crops that are relatively dense, that are not planted regularly in rows and wherever maximum flexibility is required due to the nature of the area.
Metering is carried out by manually adjusting the metering valve depending on the herbicide used. The herbicide travels by gravity from the container via the valve to the nozzle. The nozzle is activated by pressing a button, i.e. you only spray where necessary. In order to achieve an even dosage per unit area (e.g. l/ha), the expected walking speed must be taken into account when setting the valve and kept as constant as possible during application.
Spray widths of 12-45 cm are available. On some devices, the spraying width can be infinitely adjusted by turning the spraying screen.
