The mounted or trailed devices are suitable for large-scale use, e.g. in orchards and vineyards, in other row crops and in public green spaces.
Dosing is carried out by a pump driven by the wheel of the spraying system. It is therefore dependent on the distance travelled and not on the speed of movement. A defined quantity of herbicide is applied with each rotation of the wheel. The application rate per unit area can therefore be precisely dosed for optimum distribution of the active ingredient over the entire treated area.
The wheel with the coarse profile reduces slippage on difficult soils and thus ensures path-dependent metering even under very unfavourable conditions.
A parallelogram ensures that the wheel is in constant contact with the ground and that the distance between the spray curtains and the ground remains constant.
The device is equipped with electronic battery and motor monitoring, which uses a coloured LED light to indicate whether the device is working correctly (green), whether the battery is empty (yellow) or whether there is a malfunction at the nozzle, e.g. due to heavy soiling (red).
